Rick and his wife Ann joined Langdale in 1994. Rick has been an Elder since 1996 and is a qualified chiropodist. Rick and Ann are well-travelled, having previously lived in Scotland and the Bahamas.
Handel is married to Miriam and has been an Elder since the 1970s. No one can seem to remember precisely when he started. Before he retired, Handel was a English teacher but takes great pride in his Welsh nationality. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren who, incidentally, are the only thing that can distract him from his other great love - crossword puzzles. He also has an inexhaustible supply of anecdotes on hand for any occasion.
Colin is married to Linda, they have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. Colin came from a non-religious home and became a committed Christian in his early 20s while at university. It is a decision he has never regretted because it has brought him so much peace of mind and purpose. Colin works part-time with Langdale Church and a church in Leighton Buzzard. He is also a trained counsellor and regularly runs bereavement courses. He writes monthly articles for the Leighton Buzzard Observer and the Good News paper.
Andy grew up in Weston-super-Mare and has been preaching in churches since the age of 15. Following 3 years at Moorlands Bible College he has pastored two churches and spent ten years lecturing in Bible schools across Eastern Europe. Today Andy works with Outreach UK as an evangelist and a support officer for evangelists across the east of England. Andy is a massive film fan and each week reviews film on Pure247Radio. He is also the Author of a book called "Faith on film - Confessions of a Christian Film Critic". (Available on Amazon). Andy is also a dedicated fan of Bristol City.
